Beverly Pinkerton
Beverly has more than 30 years of teaching experience in Tap, Jazz, and Ballet including 16 years at Parker Dance Academy in Parker, CO where she served as director of the tap program. She trained at the Oklahoma City University Ann Lacey School of Fine Arts. Previous to that she earned her teaching accreditation through Southern Association of Dance Masters. As a teacher and choreographer she has received various awards and recognition for her work with students on the dance competition circuit both on a regional and national level. Beverly also both danced and choreographed for the worship and fine arts ministry of Orchard Road Christian Center in Denver, CO. Beverly co-directed Colorado Dance Coalition which served the Colorado dance community through the production of master classes. Beverly was the personal teaching assistant to Robert L. Reed for the Colorado Chapter of the St. Louis Hoofer's Club for five years. Beverly has served as choreographer for the Parker Theatre Company. Beverly has performed numerous times in the Phoenix, AZ based Tap company Tap 24.7 where she has also served as a rehearsal captain. In 2018 Beverly competed with Team USA in the IDO International Tap Championship in Riesa, Germany where she was awarded a silver medal. Beverly taught for Arizona Dance Masters in 2025 and for the Phoenix Tap Festival in 2026. Beverly performs regularly in the Phoenix based Tap Company, J.A.M. in Company.
